Volpone comes to Endicott having served as the assistant head football coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach last season at Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts.
Anthony Volpone comes to Endicott with a wealth of football experience, having coached at the collegiate level with NEFC foe Nichols College, Bridgewater College (VA), Norwich University, and Becker College. Volpone began his coaching career at his alma mater, Nichols College, from 2000-2003. While at Nichols, Anthony served as the quarterback and running backs coach while earning his MBA.
In 2003, Volpone accepted the assistant football and assistant athletic director position at Pine Crest Preparatory School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. While at Pine Crest, Volpone had a range of assignments including quarterbacks coach, athletic department budget manager, and physical education instructor. From Pine Crest, Anthony moved on to Bridgewater, Virginia for the assistant job at Bridgewater College. At BC, Volpone coached the tight end and offensive line positions while serving as the teams recruiting coordinator.
Norwich University came calling in 2005, naming Volpone their recruiting coordinator and Director of Football Operations. Anthony was also in charge of the quarterback position and handled the teams travel plans for all road contests. Last season Volpone coached at Becker College, serving as the Hawks offensive coordinator, quarterback coach, and budget/travel manager.
"I am very excited to add Tony to our staff. He comes highly recommended and has great experience as well as being an excellent recruiter," said head football coach JB Wells. "He will be a great addition to the Endicott Football family."
"I am extremely happy to be a part of a successful program that is doing things the right way," said Volpone. "I look forward to adding what I can and learning a lot."
