Coach Kulakowski is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth where he received a Bachelors of Arts in History. Coach Kula was a four-year varsity athlete while in college, and was named captain of the Corsairs' football team in 2001.

This will be Coach Kula's seventh year coaching softball and football. He works primarily with the outfielders in the spring and is the defensive line coach for the Gulls football team.

Coach Kulakowski is also the head coach of the Bay State Northeast Summer Team. The past three years, his teams have won gold,silver and bronze medals in the games. This past summers' team won gold losing only once the whole tournament.

In addition, Coach Kulakowski serves as the MIAA North Sectional Softball Tournament Director.

In addition to coaching softball, Coach Kula also works as the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities. Coach Kula recently recieved his Masters Degree in Education from Endicott.
