Endicott Voted 5th in Men's Basketball Preseason Poll

The Gulls have been selected to finish 5th in the preseason coaches' poll

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Endicott College men's basketball team has been voted to finish 5th in The Commonwealth Coast Conference preseason poll released today by TCCC Commissioner Gregg Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head men's basketball coaches.

Winners of the 2007 TCCC Tournament, Wentworth (17-12, 9-7 TCCC) received eight of the 14 first-place votes in the 2008 TCCC preseason poll. Western New England College was picked to finish second and received three first-place votes. Gordon College was selected third and received one first-place vote, while Roger Williams University was chosen fourth and received the two remaining first-place votes.

Teams received 14 points for every first-place vote received, 13 points for each second-place vote, 12 points for each third-place vote, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
