ORLANDO, Fla. - Sophomore righty Colin McGinn (Tolland, Conn.) threw seven innings of no run, three hit baseball, and the Endicott College offense posted 10 runs in a shutout win over Greenville College on Tuesday morning in Orlando, Florida. The win gives the Gulls a 3-1 record while the Panthers fall to 2-3.

Endicott scored the game's first run in the top of the third as the Gulls posted a three-spot on junior Heath Erwin (Paris, Ill.). Adam Labbe (Litchfield, Maine) cranked an RBI double to right field, scoring senior Tom Warner (Contoocook, N.H.) from second. Endicott's next batter Aaron Santos (Cambridge, Mass.) singled up the middle, plating Warner for the 2-0 lead. Santos, who has been a nuisance for opposing teams all week on the base path, stole second and then advanced to third on a throwing error by the Greenville catcher. The Panthers' centerfielder, Mike Scott (Indianapolis, Ind.), fielding the misguided throw but then committed an error himself, allowing Santos to scramble his way home for the three run advantage.

The Gulls scored consecutive runs in each the fourth and fifth, extending the margin to five. In the sixth, the Blue and Green poured on five more scores, including a two-RBI single by freshman Christopher Dominguez (Braintree, Mass.), sealing the win for Endicott.

Aaron Santos hit 2-for-3 and scored two runs in the Gulls' win. Dominguez batted 2-for-4 with two RBI, while Tom Warner had two hits, scored twice and batted in a run for the Blue and Green. Colin McGinn tossed seven innings of shutout baseball, allowing just three hits and striking out five in the victory.

Endicott returns to action on Wednesday for a double-dip against St. Joseph's. Game times are scheduled for 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
