The newly re-founded crew program is undergoing final preparations for the first official regatta (non-scrimmage) in team history. On Saturday, October 11, crew will travel to Pembroke, NH for the New Hampshire Championships Regatta where they will enter a women's open 4+, women's novice 4+, and men's novice 4+ to compete with at least seven other New England colleges. The Crew Club will be looking to rebound in the fall of 2008 after a semester hiatus and reorganization, recently hiring Brian Chorney to head up an entirely new team of men and women rowers. With plans for a coed boat, a men and women's four, and a light schedule of club competition, this club team provides a bright outlook for a promising future. read more
